I'm a Senior Product & UX/UI Designer based in Costa Rica, working with teams across LATAM and the U.S. For over 10 years I've designed products for complex industries such as fintech, banking, healthcare and more, places where the data is complex, the rules are strict, and good design means more than making things look nice. It means making them work.
I've built and grown design systems from the ground up, and I've also learned to work well inside systems that already exist, adding new pieces without breaking what's already there. I don't stop once a design is done. I stay close to the process after handoff too, checking QA, talking directly with developers, and making small adjustments until the final product actually looks and works the way it was meant to. A combination between design, AI and development to satisfy user needs.
Outside of work, you'll find me with my two dogs, Mikey and Waffle, the best company after a long day. And there's a dream I keep close: traveling more. I think getting to know new people and places makes me a better designer too, it's the same skill really, learning to see through someone else's eyes.
